Our Practice Philosophy
One of the goals of Dr. David Ores is to help you enjoy your life with optimal health for as long as possible by combining the strength of modern scientific medicine with an old-fashioned emphasis on a personal, patient-doctor relationship.
Dr. David Ores will:

What to Expect When You Visit
Dr. David Ores devotes a great deal of time getting to know you. At your first visit you will spend time with him exploring your medical history, family background, and work experience, as well as performing a physical exam and whatever blood tests or diagnostic tests are needed. Before your visit is over, Dr. Ores will develop a plan for you that addresses any immediate problems you may have. Dr. Ores also will discuss how to minimize any possible future health-related problems.
Dr. Ores is readily available to help you with any new issues that arise after your visit or to help with problems that require ongoing attention. Every year Dr. Ores will re-assess your health status, review the screening tests you need, and adjust your fitness plan. Over time a patient could develop common illnesses such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, anxiety, depression or other medical conditions. As a general practitioner. Dr. Ores is well equipped to manage all of these problems and to coordinate the care you may need from a wide range of specialists.
In summary, we are not a large corporate medical machine type practice and we will do whatever we can to try to help you as best we can. Whatever resources we have at our disposal, are yours to benefit from at your convenience
Services Available
General Medical Care: Physical examinations; expert referrals; blood tests; EKG testing; treatment of common infections; respiratory illnesses / cough; repair & treatment minor lacerations; travel vaccinations; routine GYN care; pregnancy testing; STD testing; care and diagnosis of metabolic illnesses (diabetes, obesity); quit smoking care; diagnosis and treatment of anxiety / depression; headache; management of high blood pressure; common skin diseases, urinary tract infections; gastric reflux disease (GERD); treatment of sore throat and strep; and all other common illnesses and maladies one may encounter. If your illness or problem is out of the range of what Dr. Ores usually treats and manages, Dr. Ores will take the care and time to be sure you are referred to someone who can help you.

Insurance and Payment Policy
We accept cash, MC/Visa, American Express or Discover Card and personal checks. For general medical care, we will work with you regarding our rates and can arrange payment schedules for our patients who are not comfortable with the full fee. We do not process health insurance claims for you. However, we do provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Dr. Ores does not participate in managed care because HMO type systems do not allow Dr. Ores to offer you the time and attention that are necessary for excellent service and attention to your medical needs.
Also, insurance companies require hours upon hours of telephone time and paperwork for even the simplest task. You will only need to follow one claim (yours). As a medical office, we would have to chase down hundreds of claims from dozens of different plans. It is just not feasible for us to process insurance claims on your behalf.
For cosmetic laser treatments and USCIS exams, payment in full is expected at the time of service.

Hours of Operation:
Dr. Ores is available for the USCIS examination by appointment only Monday through Friday mornings 10 am until 12 noon. And again at 3:30 PM until 7 PM. Saturday appointments are possible in some cases. Please call or e-mail to make your appointment.
